Hey everyone! Got a quick question. I've been growing in a grow bag for about two months now. The bag isn't covered in mycelium but this week mushrooms started to grow. 2 shot up and are quite large and about a dozen more are starting to grow. is this normal? The fact that they are growing without the substrate being covered in mycelium? Should I open the bag for the first time to remove the 2 large mushrooms or just be patient and wait for more to be available? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I hope my picture worked.

I definitely got spores from an online vendor and the bag from an online vendor. When u say put her in a water tub, what exactly would u recommend? Sorry! I'm just so new and not sure all the ins and outs of this hobby.

Why is everyone trying to dog online vendors to bad spores and syringes. I’ve used the same one to success for years. Even the trade to spores here on Shroomery and very few times have gotten bad grain jars. -------------------- Eye was thinking the other day... ahh, thinking never done me no good.

It's not always the jars and it's not always the vendor bought bags. But once combined there's no way for us to help troubleshoot. Was the bag not prepped well? We don't know. Was the syringe maybe dirty? We don't know. Maybe a combination of both? Again we don't know. Where as if people explain there process in detail from making there own stuff we can generally help better. We're not so much dogging the vendors but it doesn't allow us to help to often.
