Fireworks, family fun, and Faires! This holiday weekend there are tons of family-friendly activities happening around southeast Wisconsin. WISN 12 News talked to the team at "Milwaukee with Kids" about their top recommended events for July 4-7. Fourth of July Fun around southeast WisconsinFamilies can check out dazzling fireworks shows at several Milwaukee County parks Thursday — including Alcott, Gordon, Lincoln, and Lake Parks. If you want to take a short drive outside of the city, many other local communities have fireworks shows as well, including Franklin, West Allis, and Shorewood. Greendale even has a four-day-long Independence Day celebration that wraps up Saturday.Bristol Renaissance Faire in KenoshaThe Bristol Renaissance Faire begins Saturday. It runs July 6 through Sept. 2, transporting attendees back to medieval times with activities and shows spread across 30 acres and 20 stages. There is an admission fee, but children 4 and under are free.
